Surya & Aisha Wedding

Surya & Aisha Wedding
Documentary, not direction
Surya and Aisha asked for a record of the two days rather than a set of arranged pictures. That changes almost every decision: where you stand, what lens you carry, and how much you are willing to miss.
How we covered it
- Two photographers, one on the couple and one on the room, swapping every hour so neither gets stale.
- Prime lenses only, which forces movement and keeps the files clean in low light.
- No flash during the ceremony, and no repeated moments afterward.
The parts that matter
The frames the family return to are almost never the ones on the shot list. They are the grandmother watching from the second row, the two children under the table, the five minutes before the doors opened when nobody was performing.
Eleven hundred delivered frames, and the print order was fourteen of them. We could not have predicted twelve.
Delivered in three weeks: a full gallery, a 60-frame story edit, and an album designed from the story edit.
